 Jr. Financial Advisor

Financial Management, Inc. is currently seeking a Financial Advisor.  We are looking for a professional and ambitious person to join our progressive organization.  The candidate needs to be able to communicate effectively with clients and analyze client financial information to develop customized plans that will help them pursue their short-term and long-term financial goals.  This person will work with our experienced Financial Advisors to help obtain new clients as well as help service existing clients.      

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain client base
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to assess current income, expenses, financial objectives, risk tolerance and other information to determine financial goals
  • Continually research and analyze investment strategies and market conditions
  • Perform investment management tasks such as trading, tax loss harvesting, rebalancing and account reviews to determine changes needed in client’s financial status 
  • Advise/Educate clients on products and services available to meet their financial needs and goals
  • Design financial strategies and assist clients to make informed decisions
  • Contact clients regularly with market and investment news

Job Qualifications

Qualifications for the Financial Advisor are as follows:

  • Adherence to business ethics, honesty, and integrity
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to business, finance, or financial services 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Driven, self-motivated and a commitment to long-term client relationships
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to develop trusting relationships with a wide variety of individuals
